According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), around 43.5% of African American adults reported drinking alcohol, with 7.4% struggling with alcohol addiction. The advisory also encourages everyone to be mindful of the link between alcohol consumption and increased cancer risk when making drink choices.
