U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy on Friday proposed labeling alcohol as a leading cause of cancer. In a newSurgeon Generals Advisory on Alcohol and Cancer Risk, Murthy outlined how alcohol contributed to at least seven types of cancer, including breast and mouth cancer.
